AAPI Solidarity

In collaboration with The May 19th Project, in solidarity with AAPI heritage month, and in honor of the diversity of the AAPI community, For Freedoms curated and produced a billboard campaign to visualize mutual support in a time of increasing anti-Asian violence around the globe.

AAPI Solidarity was launched in partnership with Christy Chan, Erin Yoshi, Gia Kuan, Jeff Chang, JiaJia Fei, Karen Ishizuka, Renee Tajima-Peña, the May 19th Project, OBM, Sacramento Kings, and UCLA. Along with the artists who contributed artwork, we also collaborated with Harleen Kur, Margaret Liu Clinton, PJ Ravel, Renee Tajima-Pena, and Roberta Uno for an Instagram Live series.

The For Freedoms AAPI Solidarity Digital Toolkit was shared with participating artists, partners, funders, and collaborators.
