Another Justice: By Any Means Necessary is a call to reconvene and reconsider what justice can be in a time of imbalance. The road to progress is always under construction, rife with bumps, potholes and hazards. In spite of— and because of— our collective and individual trauma, we invite you to vividly imagine what a just world would and could look like. Hold it in your heart. How do we get there from here? What is your role in creating it? How will you adapt your course as conditions change? In Another Justice, For Freedoms proposes new paths forward to justice, by any medium necessary.

AAPI Solidarity

In collaboration with The May 19th Project, in solidarity with AAPI heritage month, and in honor of the diversity of the AAPI community, For Freedoms curated and produced a billboard campaign to visualize mutual support in a time of increasing anti-Asian violence around the globe.

For Freedoms is an artist-led organization that centers art as a catalyst for creative civic engagement, discourse and direct action. Founded in 2016 by a coalition of artists including Hank Willis Thomas, Eric Gottesman, Michelle Woo, and Wyatt Gallery, For Freedoms is dedicated to fostering an environment of listening, healing, and justice through a wide range of creative engagement. For Freedoms works closely with a variety of artists, organizations, institutions and brands to expand what participation in a democracy looks like and reshape conversations about politics.
